The Watchtower

The Watchtower is the Official Podcast of the Mgrublian Center for Human Rights. The Watchtower sheds light on human rights issues worldwide, featuring the work of contemporary scholars, journalists, and other activists. Every month, the Watchtower dissects a new issue, bringing attention to both human rights violations and efforts to protect human rights around the globe.

After noticing that the Mgrublian Center for Human Rights (the Mgrublian Center) lacked a public-facing communication apparatus to transmit its research and advocacy, Joseph proposed the idea of a podcast to the directors of the Mgrublian Center. With the support of the directors of the Mgrublian Center, Joseph founded the Watchtower, piloting the first season with Joshua Morganstein. The first season was exceptionally well-received, and support for the Mgrublian Center flooded in.

Joseph has grown The Watchtower from a two-man team to a team of 12 individuals who work on various episodes simultaneously—ensuring quality episodes are released each month.
