TogetherSF

With support from TogetherSF, the Rose Institute of State and Local Government (the Rose Institute) released "Re-Assessing San Francisco's Government Design," a report that analyzes the city's municipal government structure and proposes innovative amendments to streamline and democratize it.

TogetherSF continued collaborating with the Rose Institute, designing ballot initiative proposals and various media and political strategies to give each initiative the best chance to pass in the November 2024 election cycle.

Joseph analyzed hundreds of city charters across the state of California and the major metropolitans in the US to author briefs and talking points supporting the potential proposals that the Rose Institute and TogetherSF discussed. Based on Joseph's research and recommendations, the Rose Institute and TogetherSF coalesced around Proposition D: City Commissions and Mayoral Authority.
